Science Access Course

Science Access Course

Our Science Access Course is designed for those of you who wish to enrol onto the Nutritional Therapy Diploma Course (NTDC) but do not have the relevant Science ‘A’ Levels or equivalent.

We have found that many of our students come to us from an entirely different academic or professional background and we have arranged this course specifically with those applicants in mind.

96% of those students who go on to study the NTDC, successfully complete their course and become qualified practising Nutritional Therapists.

The course consists of three modules: Chemistry, Biology and Anatomy & Physiology.  You can study one, two or three modules, depending on your requirements, through a selection of flexible study options. We offer attendance courses of between three, six and nine months’ duration as well as various online Distance Learning options.

Additionally, we offer Independent Study Packs for anyone who has studied the relevant sciences in the past, and needs to update or refresh their knowledge.

Course fees: Students can study a full course, or only selected modules according to their individual requirements which may be assessed upon an interview.

Please note: Every student enrolling on any ION course is required to pay a registration fee of £350.00 in addition to the course fee. This registration fee is valid for the time you are an ION student, is non-refundable and is paid only once upon enrolling on the first course (either one of the Science Access Courses or the NTDC). It includes registration on our database, and membership and subscription to The Institute and its Magazine.

Science Access Course tuition fees for the academic year 2015/2016 are available upon request.
